I am a Feng Shui consultant / interior designer who advises private individuals and forward-thinking organizations. I am based in Miami and I work all over the world, by appointment.
I organize the living and working space of my clients to create positive and harmonious energies.
The advice I give is tailored to the specific needs of the individual. As those who understand Feng Shui know, the work that is involved is more than just placement of furniture. It is a comprehensive evaluation of the aims and goals of those who occupy a particular space so the environment can best reflect those aspirations.
So how is this achieved? Through this ancient Chinese practice called Feng Shui, dating back thousands of years, in which I have been learning all throughout my life. Being of Chinese origin, the understanding of this craft is not only part of my culture and heritage, it has been an integral part of my life. It was passed down to me from my mother, Dr. Macy Lu (www.fengshuiintl.com), and the significance is that the Feng Shui Mastery is passed down from one generation to the next like how it was done in the old days. This lineage dates back to the Chow Dynasty of over 3,000 years ago.
My background also includes a bachelor’s degree in Textiles from the University of Maryland. I also had the privilege of studying interior design at the prestigious Chelsea College of Art & Design, which is part of The London Institute in England.
Projects on which I have been brought in to advise have included many offices, shops, galleries, hotels, restaurants, bars, night clubs and health/beauty spas. My most current projects have included The Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Greenworks at The Ritz-Carlton, program for the Discovery Channel (airing world-wide in early 2005).
Other various activities have included lecturing at The Library of Congress, teaching adult education courses at community colleges and universities, giving workshops, seminars as well as giving talks at numerous bookshops, health spas, and health food stores.
I advise clients in Florida, Boston, New York, Washington, D.C., London, Paris, Berlin, Hamburg, Belgium, Netherlands, Sweden and Iceland.
